Welcome to the PDX Home Brewers Club!

Joomla! LogoPBC's mission is to have fun promoting the art and knowledge of home brewing. Although PBC's home is in Beaverton, Oregon, all are welcome!
PDX Home Brewers club is based out of Beaverton, Oregon and is open to one and all who share the common interest: to share and learn about the wondrous art of homebrewing. In our attempt to promote the hobby even more, we created pdxbrewers.com. Here at PDX Brewers.com you can connect with other brewers to exchange ideas, techniques, equipment, recipes, and maybe even a few samples...:-)

We meet monthly at Max's Fanno Creek Brew Pub in Tigard. A great place to hang on the west side. Also we have many club events including group homebrewing, brewery tours, BBQ's, and alot of other homebrewing and beer related stuff. Our next meeting is coming up soon so visit this webpage for details or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

We also offer a club chat where most of our members hang out. If you would like to give the email chat a try, just click here. For more information on membership, dues etc , see the about tab.

If you are ready to become a member, just create a user account through the member logon on the left and follow the instructions.  Once your dues have been paid your account will be activated.  You can pay dues online or at the next meeting.

Thanks for stopping by!

Jim aka Hopdadi, Founder and Webmaster.

PDX Brewers Yeast Bank

I wanted to start this project long ago when I noticed that some yeast varieties were no longer made, or are seasonal so they are hard to come across at certain times of the year. I like to have a variety of beer on hand, and never know what I will be in the mood for next, so I decided to do something about it. Hence the PDX Brewers Yeast Bank.

October Meeting

E-mail Print PDF

Happy Pumpkin Ale Month. Our October meeting will be Monday the 20th at 7pm sharp.

Our own Doug Savin will be having a discussion on water treatment.

Taster of the month will be IPA's ! Also don’t forget to bring your IPA's for judging.

Chances are a raffle might break out, so be prepared. Of course I won the socks last month, so I doubt if they have any other good prizes. LOL

Max's can be found at 12562 SW Main St in Tigard. They are located on Main Street in Old-Town Tigard, next to Fanno Creek near the A-Boy hardware store. Their number is 503 624 9400. Thanks Max's!

Till then, brew on!

Please Join us Monday November 17th at 7pm for our annual PDX Brewers Board elections. This is a members only meeting. If you are planning to join up, please do so prior to the start of the meeting.

Novembers class will be on Steeping Grains.

Tasters will be Belgian and French ales , don’t forget your taster fees.

Beer and Ballots, a great combination. Elections will be held and we could possibly have more nominations than seats for the board. Should be a good time.
